“ I celebrated my wedding at this restaurant with a large group and the staff were amazing. They were so accommodating and efficient, the service was some of the best I have experienced in years. Aside from the service, the food was amazing! We didn’t have a single complaint about our experience here & I would highly recommend. We will 100% be back next year to celebrate our anniversary- if we don’t make a visit before then. Thank you so much to the team for one of my favourite dinners! ”
“ Came here for the first time for the winterlicious menu and to check out a potential wedding venue. The service was amazing, Andrew went above and beyond to answer our questions about the wedding piece. The food was great, the soup and beef were delicious. I was not a fan of either dessert I tried but it wasn't a dealbreaker in the experience. The atmosphere was really nice but also be prepared that it's very warm inside with the fireplaces going. Will definitely come back again. ”
“ Best kept secret! Came to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The foie gras appetizer is amazing! The duck and steak are excellent. All the desserts are so good. Service is fantastic. Will definitely come again. ”
“ Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Toronto. My fiance and I had our 7th year anniversary dinner at this wonderful restaurant and it was also our first time being there. First - There is an underground parking lot, where you can park instead of outdoor, which is great and the restaurant validates your ticket. Once you walk in, they take your coat and hang it for you, which is also great especially in winter. We didn’t order appetizers, because we wanted to try Chateaubriand, which is a 16oz tenderloin, brassicas, pommes Anna, potato espuma, gaufrette, onion, Bordelaise sauce and they cut and plate it by your table. Our server warned us that it would take some time to get the food ready, which we appreciated the heads up/his honesty and started with some cocktails. Although we didn’t order appetizers, we got to try two different/wonderful amuse-bouche on the house. The main dish was also beyond delicious. For dessert, we shared creme brulee and the restaurant treated us with a delicious cake and a personalized card, which was a nice touch. Overall, we have been to many restaurants in the world and always seek new dining experiences and this place, without a doubt had one of the best services I have seen/experienced. Our server was sharp, friendly, knowledgeable and generous with his time to share recommendations with us. Service was definitely 20/10. Food was 15/10. Although it is on the pricier side, it definitely is a must experience. ”
“ I am a regular diner at Auberge du Pommier, often solo. With any number of restaurants available in Toronto, there is a reason I keep coming back. Since day one, the team has always ensured a fantastic experience. They are attentive, responsive, and adapt to your dining speed so seamlessly. It took me a while to notice how much effort had gone into making every moment count. When it comes to the food, Chef Kane Van Ee's has drizzled a layer of finesse upon the foundation laid by the prior chef, Solomon Mason. My most recent holiday lunch featured two exquisite courses that truly stood out. The Oeufs Vol-au-Vent (brioche with poached egg, Bayonne ham, Hollandaise, parsley, and chive) was so pleasant that I don’t think I would want a traditional Eggs Benedict going forward. Absolutely outstanding. The Fletan et Caviar (pan-fried halibut with maple butter sauce, brioche, caviar, Espelette pepper, and Caraflex cabbage salad) was absolutely delicious. Each bite was worthy of savoring and basking in the dish’s succulence. I have dined multiple times at other fine French establishments in the city, but Auberge du Pommier never fails to impress. Jeffrey, one of the servers, created an amazing birthday dinner experience for me, and Ashley, your go-to for events and a finely catered experience, knows how to make the most of every moment. Elona, the bartender, crafts the most amazing cocktails with a sensibility that is rarely found in other restaurants of this caliber. I always look forward to seeing what concoction she will delight me with each time. I wish I could mention everyone on the team who has contributed to these occasions, particularly the manager, of whom I do not know the name, who has always been attentive and exuded an aura of precision that I have not seen elsewhere. Though I do not often write reviews, Auberge du Pommier warranted one after two particularly impressive years of combined experiences. C’est Magnifique! ”
“ Elegant restaurant, greeted warmly by the beautiful ladies at the reception, coat checked with care and handed me a beautiful red rose That was lovely! The menu appeared light at first glance, but the dishes turned out to be incredibly fulfilling. The Pain au Lait was a delightful starter, perfectly baked and delicious. The Terrine de foie gras was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with unique flavors. My personal favorite dish of the evening was the Morue et Homard, a tantalizing lobster mousse bouillabaisse rouille that left me craving more. The flavor and textures in this dish was great, making it a standout highlight of the night. The dining experience was exceptional and very fulfilling. ”
“ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Auberge du Pommier to celebrate my sister getting married. From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary! We had the warmest welcome and the atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The staff were impeccable— knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and personable. They even went as far as to bring juice in wine glasses for the younger dinners, making them feel so special! It was evident that they genuinely cared about creating an amazing experience for us. Now to the food—each course was a masterpiece. The presentation was exquisite and every bite delivered bold, flavors that showcased the talent of their amazing culinary team. The wine pairings were also perfectly curated, elevating the entire dining experience. We were also touched by the little extras: a perfectly set table, and a personalized congratulations note to the happy couple! My sister and her now husband, are excited to spend many anniversaries at Auberge du Pommier in the years to come! ”
“ We came here for my birthday and ordered the tasting menu. I have allergies to nuts, shellfish and fruit and the chefs/staff were all very accommodating. The food and service were phenomenal. Atmosphere was elegant and romantic. We really loved our experience here. The bread was also amazing!! ”
